The West Linn mid-century addition adds a complete master suite, extended kitchen and covered backyard patio space to an existing 1950’s ranch.
The project draws inspiration from West Coast mid-century modernism, expanded outdoor living and the needs of a young, growing family.
The large, covered patio will be constructed of exposed doug fir timbers with open cedar soffits. A remodeled interior will feature higher ceilings, bright spaces and tall glazing assemblies, a welcome deviation from the original pillbox windows of the 1950s and 60s.
