A small family lakehouse on an island in the South Puget Sound. Multiple environmental restrictions and setbacks informed the simple, gabled building form and compact layout.

The steep site and obvious need for direct shoreline connection provided for an inverted program with living spaces on the lower level and sleeping rooms upstairs.
