The fancy woodshed is a woodshed that I built on our property this year. The principal heating source in our home is a wood-stove insert and it is important to have accessible, dry wood storage in our swampy location and damp climate. We were excited to design and build a structure that could elevate multiple cords of wood above the ground and also set a design standard for future out-buildings on our property.

The completed structure is approximately 4’ x 16’, finished with cedar slats on three sides and can hold around 2-1/2 cords of wood.
